Ghajini is an action thriller film that stars Surya and Asin in the lead roles. A.R. Murugadoss directed the film and it was released in the year 2005. It was nominated for Filmfare Awards and received the award for certain categories like Best actor, Best actress, Best Film and Best music director.
Now as per the recent news, the film’s sequel is on cards and the director AR Murugadoss has already started working on the script. Surya is going to play the lead role again and the details about the entire cast and crew will be announced later, if all the things stand right.
The sequel marks the third collaboration of Surya and Murugadoss and their combo is as nice as pie. Recently, Murugadoss directed the film titled Darbar with Superstar Rajinikanth. Surya received acclaim across the globe and received the National Film award for his feature film Jai Bhim, which remains the blockbuster of the year 2021.
