High Court finds fault, but Prabhas gets no relief

It is known news that last year in the month of December, the revenue officials had seized the guest house of the ‘Baahubali’ actor Prabhas and other private properties located at Raidurgam on the outskirts of Hyderabad. It may be mentioned here that Prabhas filed an emergency petition in High Court following seizure of his guest house located in survey no 46 in Panmakta village under Serilingampally Assembly constituency by Revenue authorities. In his petition, Prabhas submitted to the court that he had also applied for regularization of his guest house under GO No 59 and urged court to prevent the authorities concerned from taking any further action in this guest house case.

Now according to the latest update, on Tuesday, the Telangana High refused to hand over the guesthouse of Prabhas back to him as it falls under the CS-7 litigation zone, but offered him some relief by asking the state government to reconsider his plea to regularise the roughly 2,000-square yard land at Raidurgam in Hyderabad.

The Telangana High Court slammed the revenue officials calling it their fault in forcefully seizing Prabhas’ guest house located in Hyderabad.

The Telangana High court suggested the government to introduce an amnesty scheme that can benefit genuine purchasers. The Court said ‘This will earn thousands of crores of rupees for the government as per CS-7 of 1958 act.’

On the work side, Prabhas will be next seen in upcoming action entertainer Saaho, which is being helmed by Sujeeth. The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on 15th August.
