Rakshita made her acting debut in the 2002 Kannada film Appu, where she shared the screen space with Puneet Rajkumar, is also well known face for Telugu audiences as she has been the part of several Telugu movies like Idiot, Pellam Oorelithe, Nijam, Shivamani, Andhrawala, Andarivaadu etc. The hot diva decided to quit movies after getting married to director Prem. But she appeared in reality shows as a judge and has been doing well.
According to the latest update, Rakshita is making her come back in the film Industry but not as an actress. She has turned voice artist. She has been roped in an upcoming movie The Villain to give her voice over for British Bombshell Amy Jackson. The Villain is helmed by Rakshith’a husband Prem and produced by C. R. Manohar under the banner Tanvi – Shanvi Films whereas the music is scored by Arjun Janya. The sources close to film unit says that as the character needs to speak Kannada blending it with English and Prem felt that Rakshita would be the right choice for it.
Villain is a multistarrer movie in which Shiva Rajkumar and Kiccha Sudeep are playing the lead roles. Amy Jackson is making her Kannada debut with this upcoming action entertainer.
Villain is a big budget movie in which Mithun Chakraborty, Telugu actor Srikanth and Sruthi Hariharan are playing the supporting roles. Mithun Chakraborty is also making his Kannada debut with this film. The makers are planning to release the movie in other languages such as such as Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Bengali and Malayalam.
It is heard that Shiva Rajkumar will be seen in a completely different get up in this flick. The shoot of The Villain is almost completed and the post-production work has been started.
Rakshita has worked with top Telugu heroes such as Megastar Chiranjeevi, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Jagapathi Babu and Ravi Teja.
