Recently, it was heard that Deepika Padukone will be playing Draupadi in Nitesh Tiwari’s three-part Mahabharata, which will be produced by Madhu Mantena. Now, according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Greek God of Bollywood  Hrithik Roshan will play Lord Krishna  in Mahabharata, which will be bankrolled by Deepika Padukone.

Deepika Padukone announced she is producing an adaption of the Mahabharata,  and the sources say that  Greek God Hrithik Roshan might join the epic drama to essay the role of Lord Krishna. The producer Madhu Mantena, who is a very close friend of Hrithik Roshan, might definitely consider the actor for the role.

Hrithik Roshan is apparently been considered to essay the Lord Krishna in the epic drama. During the movie announcement earlier, Deepika Padukone had confirmed she will play the role of Draupadi. Deepika will co-produce the film  Mahabharata with Madhu Mantena, who was previously part of Phantom Films.

In the month of October, it was announced that Deepika Padukone will not only act  in Mahabharata but will also produce it. Mahabharata will be her third production venture after Chhapaak and 83.  Recently during the media interaction, Deepika Padukone said, “I am  thrilled and honoured to be essaying the role of Draupadi in Mahabharata. While the Mahabharat is popularly known for its mythological tales and cultural influence, many of life’s lessons are also derived from Mahabharat but most often from its men.”

 According to the producer Madhu Mantena, “The uniqueness of our film Mahabharata is seeing the same story from the point of view of Draupadi, who is one of the most significant heroines in our  cultural history.”

According to the latest buzz, Hrithik Roshan has been approached to play the role of Lord Krishna in the epic drama Mahabharata.

Mahabharata adaptation will be made into parts, the first one of which is expected to hit the theaters on the occasion of Diwali 2021.
