It is known that Megastar Chiranjeevi will be seen playing the lead role in an upcoming Telugu film, which is a remake of Malayalam dram Lucifer, in which Mohanlal played the lead role. Mohan Raja is on the board to helm this remake, who is known for helming films such as M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Jayam, Santosh Subramaniam and Thani Oruvan. He is returning to helm a Telugu film after two decades. Now according to the latest report, Mohan Raja has started work creating the sets for Lucifer remake.
The production designer Suresh Selvarajan, who has created a massive temple town, for Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal starrer Acharya is working on this Lucifer remake as well. Yesterday evening, Suresh took to his twitter to share few pics and revealed, “Anything new gives a sense of happiness. A new day, a new beginning. Starting set work for my new movie, with the old jitters which I carried along from the first movie to every new film, making sure if I can pull off another miracle.” Currently, a huge set is being erected by Suresh Selvarajan for Chiranjeevi starrer Lucifer remake.
Chiranjeevi starrer is jointly bankrolled by NV Prasad, Paras Jain, and Vakada Apparao, whereas it has music by Thaman. The regular shoot of the Lucifer remake will start very soon.
On the otherside, Chiranjeevi is currently working with Koratala Siva for Acharya, which is on the verge of the completion.
