Makarand Deshpande, who is best known for acting in Satya, Jungle, Sarfarosh, is basking in the glory of his recently released movie RRR, which is helmed by SS Rajamouli and has Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead role. Recently during the media interaction, Makarand Deshpande opened up about working with SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan.
Makarand Deshpande said, “When I met Rajamouli, He just said ‘I want you in the film, but I don’t know for how many days’. He gave me the story of RRR and I understood that he just wanted to build a team, not cast an actor. Rajamouli is building a team with trust.” He also added that after Baahubali series, Rajamouli was thinking of making a small film and had thought of the subject – a love story. Apparently, his wife Rama suggested and later he decided to make RRR.”
Makarand Deshpande said, “In the south, the film makers just want to make a successful film. They don’t listen to anybody and have complete faith in themselves and their God.”
Makarand Despande also talked about Jr NTR and said, “ Tarak shared an equal love for theater. Jr NTR never saw that I was playing a small role and that he was the big hero. I remember whenever I came in, he would get up, and would always offer a chair, always talking about something about, the world, films etc.”
