It is known that the music director AR Rahman and Mani Ratnam recently collaborated on Ponniyin Selvan 1, which is creating history at the box office. The film which has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Vikram and others has been successfully running in the theatres. A R Rahman is all praise for the talented and creative film maker SS Rajamouli whose recent Pan-India blockbuster RRR is still doing rounds on the global platform.
Recently during an interview, the 2 time Oscar winner AR Rahman was asked about Rajamouli’s recent Pan India blockbuster RRR, to which the Slumdog Millionaire composer said that when he watched his magnum opus Magadheera he realized that Rajamouli can do anything in cinema and was even surprised watching Baahubali series.
AR Rahman said, “I always knew of SS Rajamouli’s caliber. When I saw Magadheera, I knew what this man Rajamouli can do, and when Baahubali came out, I was shocked. The movie glorified Tollywood beautifully.”
On the other side, SS Rajamouli and his RRR Team Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR is busy promoting the movie at the Oscars on one hand and the Japanese version of the film that is releasing on October 21st on the other hand.
