Tollywood’s glamorous heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu parted her ways from her husband Naga Chaitanya, a year before she spoke about her asymptomatic condition. Recently in a magazine, she spilled the beans about her health and the extremely difficult year before she was get affected with myositis. Speaking to Alkesh, Sam revealed her condition from the initial stage of her health in her health podcast series, Take20.
She said, “I remember particularly the year before I had this problem, it was a highly hard period for me. I specifically remember the day that I think my partner/friend/manager Himank, and I were travelling back from Mumbai. And this was in June of the year before last, and I remember telling him that ultimately I feel calm. I haven’t felt a little relaxed and a little calm in a very long time. And I ultimately feel like I can breathe and I can go to sleep, and I can now wake up and keep concentration on my work and be the best that I can be at work. And I woke up with this condition.”
She also said that the reason she wanted to do the podcast was the experience, the acute experience that she had been through an dwell, an autoimmune condition is lifelong, so with what I’m dealing with right now and, I’d rather want people be safe than sorry.”
Instead, Samantha has shared a video on Instagram as well. Announcing her return to her work, Sam said, “I am going back to work, finally. But apart from that, in the meantime, I was completely jobless. But, I am doing something fun with a friend. It’s a health podcast. It is quite unexpected, but it is something that I really love, and something I am extremely passionate about.”
On the work front, Samantha has joined hands with Varun Dhawan, for an international version, Citadel. It is an Indian adaptation of the American series, being helmed by Krishna DK. Priyanka Chopra, Raj Nidimoru and Richard Madden.
