Everyone is eagerly waiting for the release of Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 2, which is slated to hit the theaters on 23rd October this year. The second part of KGF is bigger than its first part because the film has Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who is playing the role of main antagonist in this film, which is being helmed by Prashanth Neel. In the past, there were several reports that Sandalwood star Sudeep was first approached for the role of Adheera, which later went to Sanjay Dutt.
Recently Sudeep interacted with media and when he was asked about whether he was offered the role in KGF: Chapter 2, to which he laughed off the rumors and said that he was never approached for any role in KGF Chapter 2.
Sudeep added, “I was only approached with an invite to watch the film when KGF: Chapter 1 was complete.” Sudeep also spoke about Prashanth Neel’ directorial venture and said, “I am only happy that Sanjay Dutt sir is doing the film KGF: Chapter 2, as I wouldn’t have done what he is capable of.”
Made under the banner Hombale Films, Yash, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon starrer KGF Chapter 2, produced by Vijay Kiragundur will have a pan-Indian release and the makers have zeroed in on 23rd October as the release date.
