The first track from the film Pathaan starring Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, titled Besharam Rang, released on December 12. Pathaan is unarguably one of the most awaited films of 2023, which is directed by Siddharth Anand and is produced by Yash Raj Films. The movie also stars John Abraham alongside Shahrukh Khan. The seers from Ayodhya threatened to kill Shahrukh Khan. The statement was made in the context of Pathaan controversy around the actor’s song ‘Besharam Rang‘ in which he is seen romancing a bikini-clad Deepika Padukone. Several fringe groups and political leaders have objected to Deepika Padukone wearing a saffron-colored bikini in this romantic song.
Mahant Paramhans Acharya of Tapasvi Chhavni said: The makers of Besharam Rang song have insulted the saffron colour which is associated with Hindu religion. The people of Sanatan Dharma are protesting regarding this. Today we have burnt the poster of Shahrukh Khan. If I get to meet the film Jihadi Shahrukh Khan, I will burn him alive.
He also called for a ban on this film Pathaan and warned against vandalizing theatres if the movie was released on the big screen.
Pathaan is slated to hit the theaters in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on January 25, 2023.
