WTC 2023 Final: According to the latest report, the final of the ICC World Test Championship will be held in the first week of June. It seems that this title match can be played from June 7 to 11. This match will be held at the Oval in England. However, the International Cricket Council- ICC has not yet made any official announcement regarding the dates. The reports from close sources confirm that the final is expected to take place at the Oval on June 7-11. T he June 7-11 date is close to the 2023 Indian Premier League –IPL Finals, which is also expected to take place in the first week of June or late May.
WTC final, first played in the year 2021 in England, is all set for the second edition final with preparations and qualifications in the final stage. However, the date of the final could likely come just days after the final of IPL 2023 final, which could be a worry for players who are part of the Test setup.
Currently, the Indian team is ranked 4th in the World Test Championship. Australia, South Africa and Sri Lanka are next. It is expected that Team India will be able to play the final with the expected results in two Tests against Bangladesh and four Tests against Australia.
IPL teams are currently preparing for the IPL 2023 auction, which is scheduled to take place in Kochin on 23rd December.
