If ongoing buzz in media and film industry are to be believed, Akkineni Nagarjuna is all set to share the screen space with Goa beauty Ileana D Cruz, in his upcoming film, which will be helmed by none other than Praveen Sattaru, of Garuda Vega fame.
It is being heard that upcoming Telugu movie of Akkineni Nagarjuna starrer is remake of Hindi movie Raid, in which Ajay Devgn and Ileana D Cruz essayed the lead roles.
In the remake of Raid, Nagarjuna will be seen as an IRS Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax. The makers are in the hunt of female lead and if all goes well, the makers would like to cast Ileana D Cruz to play the female lead. If she says yes, she will be seen essaying the role of Nagarjuna’ wife in Praveen Sattaru’ directorial venture.
It is being heard that Praveen Sattaru is making key changes in the script according to the taste of Telugu audiences.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is currently busy in his upcoming film Wild Dog, in which he is essaying the role of ACP Vijay Varma, an NIA officer, which is being helmed by Oopiri writer Solomon, who had assisted director Vamshi Paidipally in the writing department. Solomon is making his directorial debut with Nagarjuna starrer Wild Dog.
