Dr Rajasekhar who is popular for acting in experimental movies has been approached to play the lead role in Telugu remake of Kannada movie whereas, in its Tamil version, Sathyaraj’ son Sibi Sathyraj will play the lead role. Rajasekhar was apparently impressed with the script and the screenplay so he decided to act in this remake. The sources say that Rajasekhar is very impressed with its plotline that is the main reason he has accepted the offer.
The actor believes that since the plotline is universal, it could be customized to Telugu audience too. The upcoming remake of Rajasekhar will be bankrolled by G. Dhananjayan. The regular shoot of the film will be started very soon.
The sources say that Rajasekhar was looking for an action entertainer that caters to movie lovers across all the sections. Since he is a good performer, he wanted a role that will push him as an actor.
In a career spanning more than thirty years, Rajasekhar has been the part of over eighty films in a variety of roles. He was last seen in Kalki, directed by Prasanth Varma and bankrolled by C Kalyan. The movie which also had Nandita Swetha and Adah Sharma in the female lead was a decent hit at the box office.
