The new secretariat in Telangana is all set to be inaugurated. On April 30th, after 6 am, Sudarshana Yaga will be started at the secretariat. After completion of Yagam, Purnahuti is performed between 1.20 pm to 1.30 pm. Immediately after that, Chief Minister KCR will cut the ribbon and inaugurate the new Secretariat building.
CM KCR will start the activities in his chamber on the 6th floor immediately after opening the secretariat.
GAD has instructed the ministers and officials to sign a file within the first 6 minutes of entering the secretariat building. CM KCR will address the meeting to be arranged at the secretariat premises at 2.15 pm. Since May 1st is a holiday, CM, CMO officers, ministers, section and assistant section officers will perform full duties from the new secretariat from the second day.
The new secretariat building will have 3 and 4 departments on each floor. The general administration department has completed the exercise on which department should be on which floor in the new secretariat. From 27th of this month, files, computers and xerox machines will be moved to the offices of the respective departments. Rooms are allocated to three or four departments on each floor. The sixth floor has the office of CM, CMO and CS. GAD, R&B on 5th floor, Irrigation, Law, BC Welfare on 4th floor, IT, Municipal on 3rd floor, Finance on 2nd floor, Panchayati Raj on 1st floor, Revenue, SC on ground floor Rooms have been allotted to the development departments.
