KL Narayana is the famous film producer in Telugu film industry who bankrolled the projects like Hello Brother, Kshana Kshanam, Santhosham, Rakhi and many more. Income Tax (IT) officials are conducting raids at several production houses in Telugu Film Industry. Telugu filmmakers have come under the scanner of the Income Tax (IT) department once again. This time, IT sleuths have raided the offices of producer KL Narayana.
On Thursday, IT officials reached KL Narayana’s residence and office in Krishna district and raided under the direction of Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax. Further details of the IT raids on KL Narayana are awaited.
KL Narayana is the Telugu Film producer. The name of his production house is ‘Sri Durga Arts’. He has produced prominent movies like Santosham, Kshana Kshanam. He has produced several hit movies in Telugu Film Industry. KL Naranaya has worked with several top stars like Akkineni Nagarjuna. His production venture ‘Santosham’, which was directed by K Dasaradh, was released in 2002. The movie starring Nagarjuna Akkineni, Shriya Saran, and Gracy Singh. K L Narayana’s first film as a producer was ‘Kshana Kshanam’, released in the year 1991, which was helmed by sensational filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, starring late actress Sridevi.
KL Narayana has received best in Santosham Film Awards award for ‘ Rakhi’ in 2006 and his film ‘Santosham’ also bagged the Best Feature Film, Bronze Award in Nandi Awards.
Last year it was heard that KL Narayana is making his comeback in film Industry and has given advances to SS Rajamouli and Superstar Mahesh Babu to do a movie with them. As the actor and director are busy with their prior commitments, the project is kept on hold. It was also heard that he was planning to bankroll a movie in the combination of Trisha Krishnan and Satish Vegesna.
