The teaser of Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2 has been released. Superstar Rajinikanth launched the teaser of the film on Twitter on Friday. While sharing it, he wrote, ‘Indian is back’. However, the makers are yet to announce its release date. It is expected to be released early next year.
The teaser of the film begins where the first part of the film Indian was over. Kamal’s character in the film Senapati/Hindustani had promised that wherever there is injustice, he will surely come there and he fulfilled his promise.
It is shown in the teaser that the entire country is troubled by corruption and a digital campaign called #ComebackIndian is underway. Looking at the teaser, it seems that Siddharth will be seen playing the role of a common man in the film. Bobby Simha appeared in the role of a police officer. Priya Bhavani Shankar is seen in the role of a journalist. Rakul Preet Singh was also seen in the teaser for a few seconds. Kajal Aggarwal was not seen.
On Friday, the teaser of this film was launched not only by Rajinikanth but also by Aamir Khan, SS Rajamouli, Kichcha Sudeep and Mohanlal. Everyone shared the teaser of the film in different languages.
The first part of this film was released in Indian (1996). Kamal Haasan had played the double role in the film. One was a freedom fighter commander who fights against corruption and the other was his son who was a corruption inspector. The film was written and directed by Shankar.
