In the wake of the war with the Hamas terrorist organization in Palestine (Israel-Hamas war), the central government has undertaken a program to bring back Indians trapped in Israel safely. The program was named ‘Operation Ajay’.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu personally called Indian Prime Minister Modi and explained the war situation.
Indians who want to return to India are being brought back under the auspices of the Ministry of External Affairs. Special charter flights have been arranged for that purpose. India’s External Affairs Minister S Jai Shankar tweeted that all measures are being taken to rescue Indians stuck in Israel. The Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv said that the Indians who are coming to India on a special flight departing on Thursday have been informed by mail.
On the other hand, the Ministry of External Affairs of India has set up a 24-hour control room to provide necessary assistance and facilities to Indians in Israel. Also, the Indian Embassy in Israel has set up special helpline numbers. The Israel-Hamas war entered its fifth day on Thursday. So far 2200 people have officially lost their lives in this war. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has formed a special Emergency Wartime Cabinet and is reviewing the war situation.
Israel continues to rain rockets on Gaza. Airstrikes target areas dominated by Hamas. Gaza City was completely destroyed by Israeli attacks. Buildings collapsed. The death toll is not known. All in all, Gaza has become a city of ruins. Hamas is also firing rockets at Israel from Gaza.
