The controversial reality show Bigg Boss 5 Telugu will premiere at 6 pm on 5th September on Star Maa. While the episodes on weekdays will be telecast at 10 pm, the weekend special episodes will air at 9 pm. The show will be hosted by none other than King Nagarjuna.
The makers confirmed the same by sharing a promo recently on their official Twitter handle. In a new promo, Akkineni Nagarjuna appealed to the audience to say goodbye to their boredom and welcome Bigg Boss 5 Telugu. Currently all the selected contestants are under the home isolation. Apparently, young Telugu playback singer Sreerama Chandra, who won the Indian Idol title in 2013, is also all set to enter the Bigg Boss 5 Telugu house as a contestant.
Sreerama Chandra is not only a playback singer, he has also played the lead role in few movies such as Sri Jagadguru Aadi Sankara and Prema Geema Jaantha Nai.
The makers of Bigg Boss 5 Telugu have been tight lipped about the contestants. However, sources suggest Shanmukh Jaswanth, anchor Ravi, anchor Lobo, VJ Sunny, Anee Master, Lahari Shari, folk singer Komali, Sarayu, Maanas, RJ Kajal, choreographer Nataraj and Sreerama Chandra are said to be the final list of Bigg Boss 5 Telugu contestants.
