Rahul Koli, who is one among the six children who played key roles in Chhello Show (The Last Show), India’s official entry to the 95th Academy Awards/ Oscars, died of cancer. Rahul Koli was 15.

According to the reports, the late child artist was admitted to the hospital after he had repeated bouts of fever and blood vomits. His father said that they had decided to watch the film on October 14, 2022, in the theater but he passed away before the release.

Rahul’s parents also stated that his family will watch the film on the release day after performing his last rites at Hapa village in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Rahul Koli’ father said the late child actor had repeated bouts of fever before his death, and vomited the  blood thrice. He said that after they perform Rahul’s last rites  at Hapa village in Jamnagar, Gujarat, the family will watch Chhello Show together. The film Chhello Show  will be released on 14th October. A day before its official release, Last Film Show will be screened in 95 theatres across India, with tickets priced at Rs 95.

The film Chhello Show, starring debutant child actor Bhavin Rabari as Samay, had premiered at 2021 edition of the New York-set Tribeca Film Festival, which counts Hollywood veteran Robert De Niro as one of its founders .
