Rebel Star Prabhas became conscious after the debacle of Saaho. Post Baahubali’s success, makers of Saaho have decided to increase the budget beyond necessity by adding extra features to attract the audience. But the film failed miserably in all the released languages except Hindi. So, Prabhas is now taking extra care for his new project Jaan which is said to be a periodic love saga. Prabhas has stalled the shooting of Jaan and has ordered for script changes and to take measures to control the budget. With the necessary changes, the film will start shooting very soon.
As already said, Jaan is a periodic love saga set up in two time periods, set up in the 1960s and present. According to the timeline, Prabhas will be seen in two different getups, one of a rich royal look and another one a palmist. It is also said that the rich royal look Prabhas will be in the disguise of a poor guy to win his love. Most of the film will revolve in the set up of the 1960s.
With Saaho’s failure, Prabhas is disheartened and has called for two script doctors. It is a new trend in Tollywood, to scrutinize the scripts and to tell which will work out and which will not. Paruchuri Brothers off late have worked for many films as script doctors. They are now working for Jaan too. Even popular writer Gopi Mohan is on board for Jaan to scrutinize the script. Once everything is set, the film will go on floors. Jaan will release in 2020 itself. Radha Krishna Kumar of Jill fame is directing the flick while Pooja Hegde is the main female lead. UV Creations is bankrolling the project along with Gopi Krishna films which were owned by Krishnam Raju, uncle of Prabhas. More details about Jaan will be out soon.
