Rajamouli’ latest venture RRR, which is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment, is on a roll. The film released on 25th March and has been in an entirely different zone ever since. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the film received a thumping response on its opening day as it collected Rs 74.11 Cr and it has already entered in the profit Zone.
Jr NTR and Ram Charan has also crossed Rs 100 cr marks in Nizam area. RRR is made on the lavish budget of Ra 450 Cr including the remunerations. DVV Danayya sold it to Amazon for Rs 700Cr + including the theatricals and OTT rights. Now the reports are coming that DVV Danayya did not get much money.
DVV Danayya, the producer of RRR got Rs 25 cr profit, means his remuneration. On the otherside Rajamouli took away a big share from the profits.
Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR will have to continue its stronghold at the ticket counters so as to win big before the arrival of Yash and Sanjay Dutt starrer KGF: Chapter 2 and Vijay, Pooja Hegde starrer Beast, which might impact its collection big time. KGF 2 and Beast will be released on 13th and 14th April respectively.
