The war between Israel and Hamas terrorists has entered its 5th day. Israel, which is suffocating the Palestinian group Hamas with airstrikes, intends to increase the military strikes. On the other hand, more of the reserve forces were called up for the war. Combined with retaliatory airstrikes in Gaza, the death toll has so far exceeded 3,000. The Israel Defense Forces said it had captured southern Israel along the Gaza border from Hamas militants. The army announced that they have taken control of more areas and roads in the area.
The Israeli army and its fighter jets bombarded more than 200 targets in Gaza throughout the night. Many buildings including Hamas terrorist centers were razed to the ground. Palestinian media reported that the house of the father of the Hamas militant group leader in Gaza, Mohammed Dip, was among the houses demolished by Israeli forces. According to United Nations statistics, 1.80 lakh people are displaced in Gaza.
On Tuesday, Israel’s army has claimed to recover bodies of around 1,500 militants near the border areas of Gaza. A Hamas government official said, at least 30 people were killed and hundreds wounded after Israel attacked Gaza Strip with hundreds of rockets overnight.
