ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) has given another important update on Chandrayaan-3. ISRO revealed that Chandrayaan-3is still 1,437 km away from the moon. It is clear that this distance will reach 100 km in a week.

Chandrayaan-3 left Earth’s orbit on August 1. Chandrayaan-3 entered Moon’s orbit on August 5 . Since then, ISRO has been doing orbit reduction maneuvers and reducing the distance of this spacecraft. Recently It has been revealed that another phase reduction maneuver has been successfully completed. And on August 14 and 15, this process will be completed two more times.

ISRO has revealed that everything is going as planned so far in the Chandrayaan-3 mission. However, it has been revealed that soft landing on the moon is very important. It has been clarified that they will try for soft landing on 23rd of this month.

It is known that Chandrayaan-2 failed during landing. In this context, ISRO scientists have taken more precautions and revealed that they have ensured that there are no problems this time. The model has been designed in such a way that there is no need to worry if the sensors and engines fail at a critical stage, the landing will be successful.
