According to the latest report, on 21st December, Income Tax raids were conducted at several branches of Yashoda Hospitals in the twin cities- Hyderabad and Secunderabad, in addition to its corporate office at Nagarjuna Hills in Punjagutta. Several raids were also conducted at the houses of the staff members of Yashoda hospital.
Income tax sleuths have also raided homes of Yoshada’ three directors Dr G Surendar Rao, G Ravinder Rao and G Devender Rao. More than 20 teams of IT slethus are involved in the multiple raids at several locations. The Income Tax officials are not allowing employees of Yashoda Group to enter residences of the hospital directors.
The sources say that the searches were started on Tuesday morning and continued till late in the night. The searches were carried out at the residences of the directors. 3 Yashoda Hospital located at Somajiguda, Secunderabad, Malakpet, and at its corporate office in Nagarjuna Hills were raided and the some documents were seized from the premises.
According to the latest report, some irregularities were found out in Yashoda Hospital’s income tax filing. To check these irregularities the IT raids were conducted. A lot of cash has been found at the Punjagutta branch. More clarity regarding this case will come once the officials will disclose findings.
