Income Tax officials are conducting searches in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It is reported that searches are being conducted in Kalamandir shops and directors’ houses in Telugu states. It seems that 40 places were raided simultaneously in Hyderabad alone. Officials reached the houses of Kalamandir directors Sirisha Chintapalli and Pramod at six o’clock on Tuesday morning. Searches are being conducted in Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Madapur, Gachibowli and other areas. Apart from Hyderabad, it seems that officials are also conducting raids in shops in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
The reports are coming that the searches are related to allegations of tax evasion and other financial irregularities. Income Tax officials reached the houses of directors Sirisha Chinthapalli and Pramod at six 6 am on Tuesday. Searches were conducted in both houses for 4 hours.
Income Tax -IT officials are also carrying out the inspections in the shops located in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. However, the further details of the raids are yet to be revealed.
