Meenakshi Dixit who has shook her leg in Mahesh Babu and Samantha Akkineni starrer Dookudu, in 2011, has teamed up once again with Mahesh Babu for an upcoming movie Maharshi, which is gearing up for grand release on 9th May. Currently the entire team is busy in the promotional activities of this upcoming movie Maharshi. Recently during the media interaction, Dookudu item girl Meenakshi Dixit opens up about her role in Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi.
Meenakshi Dixit said, “I will be seen essaying the role of Mahesh Babu’ companion in Maharshi. A unique chemistry surrounds our relationship in this film.”
Apparently, Meenakshi Dixit was suffering from Dengue and Typhoid when Vamsi Paidipally offered her role. She said, “ I was bedridden and I told about this to the director Vamsi Paidipally. He trusted me when I told him that I’ will manage to recover in time for the film’s first schedule. I did very hard work for recovery. I took double dose of vitamins, drank lots of water, took long walks and practiced yoga. Later I joined the sets of Maharshi.”
Apart from Dookudu, Meenakshi Dixit has also performed an item number in the Tamil film Billa II. Later she played the role of a princess in the Tamil period-comedy Tenaliraman. She was last seen in Hindi movie Lupt, which was released in 2018.
This time Meenakshi Dixit is pinning lot of hopes on Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh starrer Maharshi.
