Today morning Gunasekhar made official announcement regarding his next upcoming project Hiranyakashyapa in which Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati will play the lead role. Earlier bother Gunasekhar and Rana Daggubati have worked together for Rudhramadevi in which Anushka Shetty played the titular role.
Gunasekhar also revealed that he has been working on the project extensively for the past three years, and the mythological film is going to be made with a big budget and on a grand scale.
Gunasekhar wrote, “ Would like to share that I’m working on a mythological film ‘Hiranyashyapa’ starring Rana Daggubati in the titular role. Extensive pre production work is being done for the past 3 years for this one…that’s right 3 YEARS! That’s how invigorating this has been. More details & updates to follow soon.”
Rana Daggubati will be seen playing to play a mythological character of Hiranyakasyapa and it will be bankrolled by Suresh Babu. The sources close to the team say that Hiranyakashyapa will be made on the lavish budget of Rs 180 Cr. The top producer is taking care of this upcoming mythological drama.
On the otherside, Rana Daggubati is also getting ready to start the shoot of her upcoming movie Virata Parvam 1992, which will be helmed by Venu Udugula of Needi Nadi Oke Katha fame.
