Samantha Akkineni has finally announced her next film. Today on the occasion of Valentine day, Vignesh Shivan took to microblogging page to make official announcement regarding the next film. Titled Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal, the upcoming film will have lady Superstar Nayantara, Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. It’s a three-way romantic comedy between the three lead stars – Nayantara, Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Sethupathi.
It is known news that Nayantara, Vignesh Shivan and Vijay Sethupathi worked together in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, in 2015. However, it will be for the first time that Samantha Akkineni will be acting with Vijay Sethupathi, although both of them were in Super Deluxe.
The upcoming film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal will be bankrolled by Lalit Kumar’ 7 Screen Studios in association with Vignesh Shivn’ home banner Rowdy Pictures. Sensational music composer Anirudh Ravichander has been roped to score the music. Anirudh is associating with Vignesh Shivan for the third time after Naanum Rowdydhan and Thaanaserntha Kootam.
On the otherside, currently Vijay Sethupathi is busy in the shoot of much hyped movie Master which has Vijay in the lead role and it is being helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. In the film, Vijay Sethupathi is playing the main antagonist. Samantha Akkineni was last seen in Sharwanand starrer Jaanu, directed by Prem Kumar and produced by Dil Raju, which is doing decent collections at the box office.
