Samantha Akkineni and Sharwananad starrer romantic movie Jaanu is one of the most hyped movies of Tollywood. It is a remake of Tamil superhit movie 96 in which Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan played the lead roles. The team of Jaanu has already started the promotional activities and now according to the latest update, the makers are planning to organize the pre prerelease event of the film. The trailer which was out a few days ago is getting positive feedback from all quarters. Meanwhile the pre release event of Jaanu will take place on 1st February tomorrow in Hyderabad.
Jaanu is directed by C Prem Kumar and is bankrolled by Dil Raju on his Sri Venkateswara Creations whereas it has the music by Govind Vasantha . Recently during the media interaction Sharwaand said, “This film Jaanu needs a strong female actress and Samantha Akkineni is a perfect choice. If my performance gets credit, Samantha Akkineni has a share in it and I could not have performed better without Samantha.”
In 2019, Samantha Akkineni was seen in the emotional and romantic movie Majili alongside Naga Chaitanya, and she was last seen in woman centric movie Oh baby. Sharwanand’s last release was the crime drama Ranarangam in which Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan played the female leads.
