Jabardasth actor Vinod requires no introduction. He has become very popular in the comedy show Jabardasth in the female getup. It is hard to come to the conclusion that Vinod is not a female when he is in female get. Vinod who is popular for his feminine roles in TV comedy shows, was assaulted by his landlords. This incident took place on Saturday.
The inspector Habibullah of Kacheguda police said, “Vinod took the Kacheguda house on rent 5 years ago. He had got into an agreement with the owners to purchase half the house. He paid Rs 20 lakh in advance to finalize the deal. But when he approached the owners to discuss about the same they attacked and hit him. As a result of it, Vinod received severe bruises.”
Vinod also interacted with media and opened up about this assault, he said, “They told me that the land was 44 square yards in size. But the agreement says it is only 38 square yards. When I approached the landlords Balaji and Prameela on Saturday to discuss the same, they attacked me. Not only Balaji and Prameela, but their sons are also attacked me.”
The case has been booked against the owners under Sections 324 and 506 of the IPC. The investigation has been started.
