The movie Rudrangi starring Jagapathi Babu in the lead role was recently released in theatres. The movie starring Mamata Mohandas and Vimala Raman in lead roles was a failure. Rudrangi movie is produced by Telangana MLA Rasmayi Balakishan. In a recent interview, Jagapathi Babu made interesting comments about the result of this movie.
Jagapathi Babu said that because he liked the story of Rudrangi, he reduced the remuneration and made this film. He said that even the producer of the film, MLA, could not promote it properly. Jagapathi Babu stated that the desire of the film to do well was not seen in the producer. The movie Rudrangi was removed from the theaters within four days. He said that a good movie has become an orphan. Rudrangi movie was released with a budget of around 7-8 crores, and he had anticipated that the budget range would not work out for my market.
Jagapathi Babu said that he told the producers to release directly in OTT as the release was getting delayed, but they did not listen. He added that Rudrangi is the best movie of his career if the result is kept aside.
