Bollywood music composer Anu Malik was back at the center of the #MeToo controversy on Thursday with Jai Lava Kusa singer Neha Bhasin terming him a “predator”. She alleged that he had misbehaved with her 15 years ago when she was 21 years old.
Neha Bhasin, who sang the popular number “Swing Zara” said she had met Anu Malik, an industry senior, to present her work in a CD and she was hoping for a song break, but Anu Malik’ behaviour turned out to be that of an “ugly pervert”.
Jai Lava Kusa Singer Neha Bhasin said, “We live in the s*xist world. Anu Malik is a predator, I too have run away from his strange moves when I was 2 years old.”
The playback singer Neha Bhasin added, “The Perverts exist inside and outside our entertainment industry but why are we forgiving to the men, do we realize that is what gives them the strength to ruin our dignity, hide us the women in our houses .”
