Jason Sanjay is the son of Tamil star Vijay, who is currently in Canada. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Jason Sanjay will play the lead role in Tamil remake of romantic drama Uppena, which is yet to be released.
Few days ago, Jason Sanjay was in the news headline after it was reported that his father Vijay was worried about him living in Canada. Now it is being heard that Jason Sanjay is set to make his acting debut in Tamil film Industry with romantic drama, which is remake of Telugu movie Uppena.
Few are saying that upcoming movie is based on Nalgonda honour killing incident. In its Telugu version, Vaishnav Tej and Kriti Shetty are playing the lead role, whereas Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is playing the main antagonist, we have already reported that Vijay Sethupathi has acquired the Tamil remake rights of Uppena and he is all set to bankroll the Tamil version in association with Mythri Movie Makers. If everything will go accordingly, Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing the antagonist to both father and son, in Master and the Uppena Tamil remake.
Buchi Babu Sana, who helmed the Telugu version of Uppena, will direct the Tamil remake too. Upanna marks the director’s debut film.
