Shahrukh Khan starrer Jawan movie hit the audiences on Friday. Atlee has directed this action entertainer. Advance bookings of more than 50 crores have been done before its release.
Jaawan has created a new record as the movie with the highest advance bookings. The digital rights of this movie have been acquired by popular OTT platform Netflix. It is reported that Netflix has acquired the OTT rights of this movie for Rs 120 crores amid heavy competition.
Zee Telugu has also acquired the satellite rights of the Telugu version. It is reported that there is a possibility of Jawan streaming in OTT by the end of October or the first week of November. Nayanthara is playing the female lead in Jawan. It is noteworthy that Atlee as a director and Nayanthara as a heroine entered Bollywood with this film. Kollywood’s versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi played the villain in the movie Jawan.
Jawaan movie released on a pan-Indian level in a big way today. Due to the hype of Shah Rukh Khan’s film, the bookings are huge, and the trade circles are estimating that the film has a chance of collecting more than Rs 150 crores on the first day. It is said that this movie can collect more than 1000 crores in its theatrical run.
