The eighth edition of IIFFT-  International Indian Film Festival Toronto, which is going online this year 2020 due to the pandemic, will be held from 9th to15th August.  Now according to the latest update, Natural Star Nani and Shraddha Srinath starrer sport based drama Jersey has gotten selected for screening at the International Indian Toronto Film Festival, 2020. The film festival will kick-start from 9th August and will continue till 15th August. The team of Jersey  is excited about celebrating Independence Day in Canada with the screening.

 Apart from the lead pair, Jersey also has Sathyaraj and Ronit Kamra, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri’ was a huge hit when it released in 2019.

In an official statement, executive director Malik Ahmad said, “The International Indian Film Festival- IIFFT is an important celebration of Indian culture in North America. We are pleased that, despite the challenges and limitations of Coronavirus, we have found a way to deliver this year’s festival entirely virtually. We are grateful to the many directors, producers and stars who will join us to make this edition another great event even if we are not able to come together in person.”

Telugu film Jersey is now being remade into Hindi  in which Kabir Singh fame Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur are playing the lead roles.
