Young Tiger Jr NTR was last seen playing the lead role in blockbuster drama RRR which was helmed by SS Rajamouli. Recently during an interview, Jr NTR talked about the success of RRR and how the Telugu audience played a huge part in it, Tarak said, “Telugu audience has always been supportive of good cinema. If today a film like RRR goes to the US, Japan, wins the Golden Globes and is a contender at the Oscars, it’s not our greatness. It’s only possible because we have support of the audience and film industry. And More importantly, it is Rajamouli’ triumph.” Now the reports are coming that Jr NTR has hiked his remuneration and he is charging Rs 100 Cr for a film.
If Tarak really is charging Rs 100 crore per film, this will make the actor one of the highest paid actors in Indian cinema, not just Tollywood.
On the work front Jr NTR has number of projects in the pipeline. He has joined the sets of NTR30 which is progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of Koratala Siva and has Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady.
Jr NTR will also be seen in War 2, and he is also the part of a film with Prashanth Neel.
