Today, Shahid Kapoor took to social media to share the trailer of his upcoming film Kabir Singh, which is official Hindi remake of the 2017 super-hit Telugu film Arjun Reddy in which Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey played the lead roles. Kabir Singh has Shahid Kapoor in the titular role of an addict with serious anger issues. His character is also trying to forget the love of his life Preeti, essayed by Bharat Ane Nene beauty Kiara Advani.
The trailer of Kabir Singh starts with Kabir Singh asking about a girl at a clinic. The trailer shows Kabir both before and after the heartbreak. After the breakup, Kabir Singh is seen punching a couple of people. He grows a thick beard, starts taking alcohol and throws his life down the drain.
The makers of Kabir Singh shared the YouTube link of the trailer on Twitter and wrote, “His love has no boundaries and passion that makes him unstoppable. Meet Dr Kabir Rajveer Singh”
Shahid Kapoor who is playing the titular role in Kabir Singh, wrote on Twitter, “Enter the world of Kabir Singh, watch the trailer now.”
Kabir Singh is directed by Sandeep Vanga and the movie will hit the theaters on 21st June.
After delivering back to back commercially flop movies like Rangoon and Batti Gul Meter Chaalu, this time Shahid Kapoor is pinning lot of hopes on Kabir Singh.
