Kajal Aggarwal in Chandramukhi 2: The shooting of the horror drama Chandramukhi 2 is going on at the brisk pace at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Raghava Lawrence is playing the lead role. If ongoing buzz n the media and the film industry are to be believed, Kajal Aggarwal will be part of Chandramukhi 2, which is currently in production. If it becomes true, it will be the second outing for Nene Raju Nene Mantri fame actress in this genre after the Live Telecast series.
Chandramukhi 2 is being helmed by P Vasu, and it is an official sequel to Rajinikanth’ Chandramukhi, released in 2005. It is known that after announcing the project, the choreographer turned actor and director Raghava Lawrence, met his idol Superstar Rajinikanth and seeked his blessing before starting the shooting of the film. It is known that Rajinikanth played the lead role in ‘Chandramukhi’, which has Jyotika playing Chandramukhi, with Prabhu, Vineeth and Vadivelu in supporting roles. In the sequel, Kajal Aggarwal will essay the role of Chandramukhi.
Vadivelu, who was seen in a comic role in the first part of Chandramukhi, will also be seen in the sequel, while the music is to be scored by MM Keeravani. RD Rajasekar will be handling the camera, while Thotta Tharani will take care of the artwork for the horror-comedy.
Currently Kajal Aggarwal is working with Kamal Haasan for big budget drama Indian 2 which is being helmed by Shankar.
