M. Atchibabu acquires
Kaliveerudu’s rights
for a fancy price!!!
After arriving on the national scene big-time with the KGF franchise, the Kannada film industry’s pride shot up by leaps and bounds with the blockbuster mystical drama, Kantara. And now, following the footsteps of Kantara, the latest Kannada movie, Kaliveera, is winning critical acclaim and is also ruling the box office with record collections.
Very soon, Kaliveera is going to storm the Telugu states. The film has been dubbed in Telugu as Kaliveerudu. Popular film distributor M. Atchibabu of Minimum Guarantee Movies has acquired the Telugu version’s distribution rights by shelling out a bomb, and is planning a grand release across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Kaliveerudu has the latest Kannada sensation Ekalavya, who is popular for his realistic fights, playing the lead role. Chirasree is the leading lady in this Avi directorial. Danny Kuttappa, Tabla Nani, Anitha Bhat and others essayed important roles in the movie. The film is slated for release in the second half of July. Producer M. Atchibabu is confident that Kaliveerudu will recreate the kind of sensation Kantara had created upon its release.
