Kamal Haasan is one of the versatile actor of South Indian Film Industry and currently he is busy in the shoot of his next upcoming project Indian 2, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of Shankar. Today on the occasion of versatile actor Kamal Haasan’ birthday, the makers of upcoming much awaited big budget drama Indian 2 have released a new poster that features the back look of Kamal Haasan. His face isn’t visible in the poster, Coming on the Indian 2 Poster, Kamal Haasan at a fort in his Senapathy getup is seen gazing at the city below.
A sequel to the 1996 film Indian, upcoming drama has Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Aishwarya Rajesh, Delhi Ganesh in supporting roles. The film also has Bollywood star Vidyut Jammwal as the antagonist. Kamal Haasan will return in his iconic ‘Senapathy’ role from the first movie, which is being helmed by Shankar of I and 2.0 fame.
Recently the team wrapped up the first schedule of the film in Chennai. Scenes involving Kamal Haasan, Rakul Preet Singh and Siddharth were shot in the city. A fight sequence was also shot recently. The stunts were choreographed by Peter Hein, a frequent collaborator with Shankar. The sources say that second schedule will also involve high-octane stunt sequences. Many CGI sequences are to be part of this upcoming multilingual drama Indian 2.
Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal starrer Indian 2 will have music by sensational music composer Anirudh Ravichander and is produced by Lyca productions. Rathnavelu is handling the cinematography. Recently it was also heard that Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor is also the part of Indian 2 but there is no update regarding the inclusion of Anil Kapoor in Kamal Haasan starrer.
The makers are planning to release Indian 2 on 14th April, 2021.
