Kamal Haasan starrer action drama Vikram is doing fantastic collections at the box office and it has become the highest-grossing movie by crushing the collections records of SS Rajamouli’ Baahubali 2 : The Conclusion and Vijay’s Beast box office collections in Tamil Nadu. As per the traders report, Vikram grossed over Rs 150 cr in the state on Saturday. On Friday, industry tracker Ramesh Bala wrote on the wall of his twitter: Vikram to surpass Viswasam and Baahubali2 TN Gross to become All-Time No 1 TN Grosser soon.
Now Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Vikram has joined the 350 crore club within 16 days and the movie is still running in the theatres with 60% occupancy. As Kamal Haasn film dethroned Baahubali2, this news hurt Rajamouli.
Currently, Vikram is the second on the list of highest-grossing Tamil films of all time, only behind Rajinikanth’s 2018 blockbuster 2.0, which earned Rs 655 cr worldwide.
Vikram, the action drama is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and it has the music by Anirudh Ravichander. The movie marked Kamal Haasan’s first release in 10 years. Now he is all set to resume the shoot of his next Indian 2 under the direction of Shankar of 2.0 fame.
