Kangana Ranuat announces Emergency release date

National award winning actress Kangana Ranaut has announced the release date of her upcoming movie Emergency, a day after attending the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Manikarnika fame actress also shared a new poster of Emergency. The movie has also been directed and written by Kangana herself. Emergency starring Kangana Ranaut will be released on 14th June Worldwide in a very grand manner. The movie will clash with Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion.

Coming on the poster, which is shared by Kangana  Ranaut on social media featured former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Emergency was earlier supposed to be released in November last year.  But now it will arrive at the theaters on 14th June. The upcoming drama revolves around the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who had imposed the Emergency in the country in 1975.  The movie also starring Anupam Kher in the role of opposition leader J P Narayan, Milind Soman as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, and Shreyas Talpade as former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The movie is produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, Kangana Ranaut starrer is touted as a mega-budget depiction of the most controversial spectacle in the history of Indian Democracy.
