According to reports, a group of individuals pelted stones at Mangli’ car, causing minor damage to the vehicle. The incident occurred after the Bellary Utsav, a cultural festival held at the municipal college grounds in the city, where the singer had performed. There was also the news that some young fans were stopped by the police while they were trying to meet her at the make-up tent during the event. Mangli reacted to the news that she was attacked by the people in Karnataka. The singer condemned the rumours and asked not to spread fake news against her. She took to her Twitter handle and tweeted as “I completely deny Fake news on some social media groups about me. Plz don’t spread wrong news.”
Mangali added , ” I completely deny the wrong news spread by the some social media groups that I was attacked yesterday at an event in Ballari. As you all can see in the photographs and videos that the event was a huge success and it was one of the best events. The love and support showered by Kannada people on me are overwhelming. I condemn this sort of false propaganda being spread.”
