Once again Tollywood star music director Devi Sri Prasad is facing criticism. The actress Karate Kalyani filed a complaint with the police station on Wednesday. Devi Sri Prasad recently made and released a non-film music video called O Pari. Now, Karate Kalyani approached the police and filed a case against DSP aka Devi Sri Prasad for using Hare Rama Hare Krishna in such a song. She said that DSP hurt religious sentiments by using the phrase in the inappropriate way. Shealso demanded DSP to remove the chants in the song.
Karate Kalyani alleged that Hare Rama Hare Krishna mantra was depicted as an item song in this album. She added that the Hare Rama Hare Krishna mantra, which is very sacredly remembered by Hindus, is insulted by portraying it with obscene clothes and dances. They are also demanding that Devi Sri Prasad apologize immediately for hurting the sentiments of Hindus. Moreover, the mantra in that song should be removed as soon as possible. Karate Kalyani warned that she will protest outside of Devi Sri Prasad’s office. Now we need to wait and see how Devi Sri Prasad will respond to this issue.
