Kiccha Sudeep is coming up with a sport based drama Pailwaan, which will be released in all the south Indian languages. It’s Telugu version is titled as Pahalwan. Popular Tollywood production house, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, successfully distributed the blockbuster gangster drama, KGF starring Yash, last year, has acquired the Telugu dubbing rights of Sudeep starrer Pahalwan.
Sudeep is playing the role of wrestler in this film and the makers have locked its release date. Pahalwal will hit the theaters on 29th August. KGF distributor (Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram) will distributor the Telugu version of Pahalwan in Telugu States.
Written and directed by S Krishna, apart from Kiccha Sudeep, Pahalwan also has Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty and Devadas actress Aakanksha Singh in pivotal roles. Recently Megastar Chiranjeevi unveiled the first look poster of Pahalwan and extended his support.
Currently Chiranjeevi and Sudeep are working together for upcoming movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which will hit the theaters on 2nd October. Recently, the makers also released the first lyrical video, composed by Arjun Janya, which received decent response. Arjun Janya is rendering the tune for Pailwaan while Karunakar is cranking the camera.
