Kia Sonet facelift unveil, launch details out
Waiting for the launch of Kia Sonet facelift in India continues. The company is planning to unveil the 2024 Kia Sonet SUV in December. It is reported that this matter will be officially announced soon.
Kia Sonet SUV was launched internationally in August 2020. After that, it entered India. This SUV has a good demand in India. This is one of the best selling models of Kia Motors in India. And the news that the facelift version of Sonet is coming is causing interest among the customers.
The 2024 Kia Sonet is likely to see major changes. Bumpers design may change. Headlights can come with new looks. The company is also likely to change the design of taillamps and alloy wheels completely. There is a talk that there will be an all new instrument cluster in the cabin.
The sources say that Kia Sonet facelift will have 1.2 liter petrol engine, 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine and 1.5 liter diesel engine. The existing Sonet also has these engines. The 1.2 liter petrol engine generates 83 HP of power and 115 Nm of torque. The 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine generates 120 HP of power and 172 Nm of torque. The 1.5 liter diesel engine generates 116 HP power and 250 Nm torque. Passenger safety features with 6 airbags and ADAS technology can be seen in the new Sonnet.
Kia Sonet ex-showroom price in India is currently Rs. 7.79 lakhs- Rs. 14.89 lakhs in between. The price of the new SUV is likely to be higher.
