The creative and talented director Koratala Siva, who is popular for delivering social message-oriented movies, has teamed up with Megastar Chiranjeevi for an upcoming project, which is tentatively titled #Chiru152. The movie of Koratala Siva and Chiranjeevi has been launched on the eve of Dussehra and the regular shoot is expected to commence from the next month. Currently, Koratala Siva is busy in the pre-production work. The sources close to the film unit revealed that Koratala Siva has locked the release date of Chiranjeevi starrer and it will hit the theaters on 14th August 2020 on the occasion of Independence day.
Chiranjeevi, who is very excited about this project, has already given nod. The few people in the film industry are also saying that SS Rajamouli’s directorial venture starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR, will not be released on 30th July 2020. After which Megastar Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva will make a final decision regarding the release date of their project.
Chiranjeevi starrer will have cinematography by Tirru while Sreekar Prasad will take care of the editing. Suresh Selvarajan is handling the production design.
Set in the backdrop of Srikakulam, Chiranjeevi, and Koratala Siva starrer is about a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation and embezzlement of temple funds and the donations.
The movie will revolve around some real incidents that have taken place in Andhra Pradesh state in the past. The art department has already started to build two sets replicating a middle-class colony in Kokapet.
Trisha Krishnan is on the board to play the female lead. It is heard that the makers are in the hunt of another actress to play another female lead.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is basking in the success of his latest release Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Directed by Surender Reddy, and produced by Ram Charan under the banner of Konideala Productions, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is the story of Kurnool based freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
