Krishna Vamsi has decided to make his comeback in Tollywood with an upcoming project in which his loving wife Ramya Krishnan will play the lead role. Krishna Vamsi has announced the title of his film ‘RangaMarthanda’, which is an official remake of Marathi classic ‘Nata Samrat’.
Apart from Ramya Krishnan, RangaMarthanda also has Prakash Raj in the lead roles. For a long time, Krishna Vamsi is waiting for a solid hit which will bring back his past glory. His previous film, Nakshatram, which was released in 2017, was a dud at the box-office. Now after a long gap, he is going to direct a movie which is titled as RangaMarthanda.
Prakash Raj will essay the role of Nana Patekar whereas Ramya Krishna will reprise the role of Medha Manjrekar in the Telugu version of RangaMarthanda.
The upcoming film of Krishna Vamsi- RangaMarthanda will be bankrolled by Abhishek Jawkar and Madhu Kalipu. The regular shoot will be started from the month of December. Now we have to wait and see whether Krishna Vamsi will bounce back to form with this emotional family drama.
On the other-side, Ramya Krishna is currently busy in the shoot of her upcoming film ‘Romantic’ in which Aakash Puri and Ketika Sharma are playing the lead roles.
