Kushi Movie Review and Rating : Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma and others starrer Kushi has hit the theaters today on 1st September 2023. Let’s see the story of Kushi.

Story: Vipilap Devarakonda (Vijay Devarakonda), who works at BSNL, falls in love of Aaradhya (Samantha)  at first sight. No matter how much Aaradhya tells lies to keep him away. Finally, she also falls in love with Vipilap. But Viplav and Aaradhya know that their fathers, Lenin Satyam (Sachin Khedekar) and Chadarangam Srinivasa Rao (Murali Sharma), will not approve of their marriage. So Vipilab – Aaradhya get  married against their parents. How did their life go after the marriage?, What are the unexpected turns in their life? To get these answers one should watch the movie Kushi on the silver screen.

 Plus Points:

·         Samantha

·         Vijay Deverakonda

·         BGM

·         Emotional scenes

 Minus Points:

·         Run time

·         Predictable  Story

·         Editing

·         Screenplay

Performance: Vijay Devarakonda  and  Samantha gives life to their roles. Vijay Deverakonda delivers a good performance in the role of the husband. After marriage, he acts very well as an average husband. He does full justice to his character with a settled performance especially in emotional scenes. Mainly, in the home sequence in the second half and in the scenes after Samantha leaves, Vijay’s performance is the highlight of the film. Also the chemistry between Vijay and Samantha is very entertaining. Samantha impresses with her screen presence as well as her performance. Murali Sharma as Chadarangam Srinivasa Rao and Sachin Khedekar as Satyyan the atheist impress with their natural performances. As usual, Rohini and Lakshmi, who appear in their style roles, also act well.  Rest of the cast perform accordingly.

Technical:  The story of Kushi is predictable. The Kashmir sequence in the first half as well as the screenplay at some places in the second half is slow. Music director Hisham Abdul Wahab’s songs are good. Similarly the background score is also very good in some key scenes. If the editor had trimmed the unnecessary scenes tightly, it would have been a plus for the film. Cinematography is good. The production values are very good. Editing is not up to the mark.

Analysis: Good concept, romantic scenes, family emotions are the highlights of this movie Kushi. However, some sequences in this movie are moving slowly and some routine scenes are a minus for the movie. If not, Vijay Devarakonda – Samantha took the movie to another level with their performance. Especially their chemistry is very good. Overall, this Khushi is pleasing the audience.

The story and characters written by Shiva Nirvana are also impressive as the events in the lives of the newly weds unfold based on the circumstances.
