Lakshmi’s NTR Movie Review: Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV is making his comeback with Lakshmi’s NTR, which has hit the theaters today on 29th March 2019. Recently released songs, trailer and posters have already generated good buzz and the expectations are very high. Lakshmi’s NTR, based on the political life of late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, is directed by Ram Gopal Varma and the movie starring Yagna Shetty, P Vijay Kumar, Sritej, Aningi Rajasekhar, in the lead roles.
Story: Lakshmi’s NTR starts after Telugu Desam Party loses power in 1989 elections. NTR (Vijay Kumar) lives hopeless life and then Lakshmi Parvathi (Yagna Shetty) makes her entry in his life. She comes close to NTR and both ties the knot. In 1994, NTR campaigned with Lakshmi Parvathi and TDP comes to power. Later Chandrababu Naidu backstabbed NTR and snatches Chief Minister’s chair. NTR gets depressed and passes away.

Performance: Vijay Kumar as NTR in Lakshmi’s NTR has delivered top notch performance and his performance is remarkable. His body language, way of dialogues delivery and performance are appreciable. He plays the role with ease and this credit goes to one and one only Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV. Yagna Shetty is fit in the role of Lakshmi Parvathi. Sritej as Chandrababu Naidu has given his best. The rests of the cast perform accordingly.
Technical: Ram Gopal Varma who is popular for is technical work has again proved his talented by the movie Lakshmi’s NTR. The Screenplay is gripping and dialogues are well written. Kalyani Malik came up the good background score. The background score lifts the movie completely. The Cinematography work is fantastic, and Rammy captured each frame interestingly. Editing is ok. Production Values by Rakesh Reddy and Deepthi Balagiri are very rich.
Analysis: The first half of Lakshmi’s NTR is superb and the level goes up till the end. Screenplay, background music, and cinematography work are mind-blowing. The narration, gripping screenplay and top notch performance made the movie Lakshmi’s NTR fantastic. Ram Gopal Varma tries to show that Lakshmi Parvathi is innocent whereas he presents Chandrababu Naidu as main villain. The Vennupotu episodes keep the audience engaged.
